Engineering and Certification
Our Engineering Team provides approved engineering solutions together with our team of Compliance Verification Engineers (CVEs). We do this for a large variety of aircraft types and with its typical modifications such as new or modified cabin interior, installations or upgrades of dedicated mission systems. Modification of the external fuselage for the installation of small antennas up to large radomes for search radars or FLIR pods are also part of our core competence.
The extensive scope of our EASA Design Organisation Approval allows us to provide stand-alone modification packages as well as provide business-to-business support for your certification activities.

Cabin Interior Modifications
From a special operations office for use during critical operations to mission operator consoles and equipment storage, our engineering team realizes custom solutions to provide your cabin with the interior configuration dedicated to your mission
Mission Systems
To cater for your cabin interior configuration, our capabilities include systems modifications like those to communication and mission systems. Providing such flexibility allows you to (re)locate your operator consoles, mission equipment storage and interior parts to any location in your aircraft, maximizing operational floor space.
External Modifications
With sophisticated mission systems come the installation of large radars, antennas and other detection equipment installed on the external fuselage. As a former OEM, Fokker Techniek has ample experience installing this type of equipment together with aerodynamic radomes
Surveillance Radar
Pollution detection, intelligence gathering, reconnaissance observation, border patrol… All missions that require a dedicated surveillance radar which shows the images directly to the Mission Operator’s Console. Interfaced with the right equipment it can gain the right knowledge and save lives.
SATCOM
Allowing for faster data connectivity is not just a selling point on airliners, but a must on Mission aircraft. Fokker Techniek can provide such solutions for your aircraft, allowing for the high speed connections to the mission ground control to make rapid decisions or store/retrieve high bandwidth data.
Forward Looking Infrared Radar
In order to detect specific targets, especially during smoke, fog, haze and other atmospheric obscurants, Forward Looking Infrared Radars can be integrated to support your mission and achieve super additive vision in less visible operations.
On-site Technical Support
Our team is available for global on-site support and surveys to address damage assessments and engineering assistance. With our experience as a TC-holder, structural repairs is part of our daily business.
Flight Testing Support
Fokker Techniek’s extensive EASA DOA-scope allow for the Approval of Flight Conditions for a Permit to Fly.
We can therefore support your flight test campaign in your certification efforts
Certification Support
With the extensive scope of our 21J Approved Design Organisation and our dedicated team of Compliance Verification Engineers (CVEs), we can provide support in the compliance demonstration for our engineering partners lacking such scope.
