1933 & 1934 – “Pelikaan” and “Snip”

Legendary are the record flight of the “Pelikaan” to Batavia in 1933 and the first transatlantic flight of the “Snip” to Curacao in 1934. The date 30 December 1933 was a historic one, when the four-man crew who had completed a return flight with the three engine Fokker “Pelikaan” Amsterdam-Batavia in record time was honoured.
